Financial AssistanceĮagle Brook does not offer financial assistance for those attending these camps, but both camps have some financial assistance available. Gluten free and dairy free options are provided, and drinking water is strongly encouraged at each meal. Mealsīoth camps work to accommodate all of kids’ health needs when it comes to food. Campers may withdraw money if they want to buy something, and any money remaining at the end of the week will be sent home with the parents. This prevents it from being lost or taken. Spending MoneyĬampers’ money is kept in a “Camper Bank,” which is maintained by camp’s full time staff. Kids may not carry their own medication, aside from special circumstances such as inhalers. The camp nurse will connect with kids as often as needed to distribute their medication. If a child needs medication, it must be noted on the registration form, and given to the nurse at drop-off. Each of the counseling staff is also trained for emergencies. Medication/Nurse Staffīoth Camp Shamineau and Trout Lake Camps have a professional nurse on camp at all times, as well as several EMT’s and other medically trained staff. If a family emergency arises during the week, parents must check in at the front desk of camp, where someone will page their kid(s). For security reasons, non-camp staff, including parents, are not permitted to be on-site at camp. ![]() SecurityĪll camp staff have been background-checked, vetted, trained in working with kids, and hired for the purpose of leading and counseling elementary-aged kids. ![]() ![]() You may want to carpool with another family to cut down on how much you have to drive. Families are responsible for dropping off and picking up their kids at camp. Anyone not listed on the registration form will not be able to pick up your kid.Įagle Brook will not be providing transportation to camp or returning. When you register, you will enter the names of those who are allowed to pick up your kid from camp. On the final day at both camps, parents and guardians picking up their kids are invited to join them for a closing chapel, after which all kids will be dismissed to pick up their belongings. Campers will be dropped off at camp on Sunday, and picked up on Friday for Shamineau, and picked up on Saturday for Trout Lake.
